Air Atlanta Icelandic has signed two “wet lease” agreements with Saudi Arabian Airlines, making the latter Air Atlanta’s largest customer with five of its B747 classic aircraft in operation.

It is a pleasure to confirm today, that Air Atlanta Icelandic has extended a wet lease agreement with MASkargo in Malaysia, by two additional years! Air Atlanta Icelandic will therefore continue to operate 4 x Boeing 747-200 freighters on MASkargo behalf until May 2010, and the dry lease extensions for the aircraft are now being finalized.

Air Atlanta Icelandic is pleased to announce the signing of a one year wet-lease agreement with GMG Airlines in Bangladesh for one B747-300 TF-AMK, which started operation last Friday February 1st. A additional one year wet-lease agreement has now been signed for a second aircraft B747-300 TF-AMJ starting 1st of April 2008. The aircraft will operate scheduled flights ex Dhaka, Bangladesh; to Kuala Lumpur, Dubai and Jeddah. As is in our previous agreement with GMG, Air Atlanta Icelandic will provide standard “ACMI” services, providing Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance and Insurance.
